The 2009 Chevrolet Silverado Hybrid will be built on the same hybrid powertrain as the new Chevy Tahoe, GMC Yukon, and Cadillac Escalade hybrid models. The Silverado Hybrid provides all-electric driving at low speeds, allowing fuel savings to be realized even when the truck is fully loaded or towing up to 6,100 pounds.
